Our Accommodation

Be it a short or long stay every pet has its own spacious, comfortable and sanitary space. Dogs or cats from the same  family may share if preferred. Our extra-large pens give your pets the space and freedom to stretch out. As much  outdoor playtime during the day as possible is included in the daily rate (weather permitting). All accommodation is  cleaned and disinfected daily to make sure your best friend’s stay is a safe one. Food and bedding is included in the price  unless otherwise indicated*.

Medium to Large Dogs

Our 10 large kennels are  the largest available at a huge 12² m each, with brick sleeping area & a trampoline bed, and mesh play area.  The kennel block is surrounded by over 1000² m of free run exercise yards. Keeping less dogs than the others gives us the time to give every dog more personalised care every day.

Small and Elderly Dogs

Typically more sensitive, these guys are accommodated away from the bigger dogs in the Small Animal House. This indoor environment has 13 pens various sized pens to allow for one large oldie or up to four small dogs to share when one family prefers to stay together just like at home. Shady, lawned exercise yards allow for frequent romps in groups or individually, just as you dog prefers.

Cats

We have just 2 cat pens. One large, over 6²m with room for all the family’s cats to stay together, and a smaller pen for up
to 2 pussies. Note: Cats that stay with us need to be use too seeing dogs about. While the dogs cannot see or approach the
cat area, the cats can see the dogs moving about when outside.

Birds and Other Pets

We have several regular bird clients. They are safe inside the Small Animal House at night, and out on the East facing veranda
during the day protected from the weather, yet enjoying an outdoor environment. Owners need to supply their own cage and feed*.

Vet Services

We have a vet on call 24/7 in the unlikely event of an emergency. We will require your Vet’s name and another name and details
in case of questions or emergencies.

The PET HOTEL is family owned and operated …

by us, Simon and Steph Gibson. We live on the premises, and as a small  personal kennel we do not employ any staff, so your dog will be exclusively cared for by us.

Even before we built the Pet Hotel we had been employed in animal management since 1975.
Alongside training and exhibiting dogs and horses, we hold qualifications in Animal Husbandry. In 2011 Steph was awarded National Certification in  Companion  Animal Services, gained solely by prior learning. She is also a certified groomer and licensed  Australian National Kennel Club Judge.

 

We have taught and competed in dog sports since 1986 gaining numerous awards with achievements  at State and National level. We are highly experienced dog trainers/handlers that are passionate about our chosen career, working with animals.

Our everyday mission is to provide your pets a safe and entertaining home away from home. Your pets will love staying with us! We care about your pet, and we go to great lengths to make sure it enjoys its holiday as much as you do.
